Our son Robbie was diagnosed with Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disorder (EGID) three years ago and has been under the care of Dr Shah and Dr Thapar at Great Ormond Street Hospital since then. Kiss it Better is an initiative to raise money for research into the causes and treatment of childhood cancer – the biggest disease affecting children today. The appeal was co-founded by Clinique and Carmel Allen, whose daughter, Josephine, was treated at the hospital for neuroblastoma. To raise money for the campaign, Clinique has created a special new limited edition Kissable Lip Set.
Help us celebrate Great Ormond Street Hospital’s 160th birthday this February and get baking like crazy to help children with cancer for our Bake it Better appeal. Cake sales are an easy and delicious way to raise money. It’s easy peasy, lemon squeezy to take part!
My daughter Maisey had been having some specialist treatment for some complex digestive issues, and last February I was scrolling through the Great Ormond Street Hospital website to find some information, but I came away signing up for the Inca Trail Trek 2011.
In September this year myself and 40 of my friends will be taking the plunge and jumping out of a plane for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. I’ve got so many mixed emotions about it! I’m really, really looking forward to it but on the other hand jumping 10’000ft – yikes!
