Great Ormond Street Hospital patients are set to benefit from a government announcement today that up to £250 million of funding will bring Proton Beam Therapy to the UK.

A host of special guests from West End shows have visited Great Ormond Street Hospital over the last few weeks, bringing theatrical cheer and entertainment to patients. From Henry VIII, to rock stars and monsters, the visits were the perfect distraction for patients and parents alike.

A new report into approaches to adult nursing praises work done at Great Ormond Street Hospital, in partnership with London South Bank University. The hospital is probably the largest trainer of children’s nurses in the country and has been working on ensuring nursing students have the right values and approaches for some years.
