Enjoy the Comedy Gala all over again!

Don’t worry if you couldn’t get down to Channel 4’s Comedy Gala at the O2 or if you didn’t catch it on TV over Easter, now you can enjoy the cream of the comedy crop in your own home with the show’s release on DVD April 26.  Some of the greatest names in comedy including; Jonathan Ross, Jack Dee and Alan Carr gave us lots of laughs at the gala all in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The gala was the biggest ever stand up show in history and we are extremely proud to be the beneficiary.  If the DVD can be even half as successful as the gala, it will be a huge help towards us achieving our goals. 

Going into hospital and especially having surgery can be traumatic for children so we want to build two new anaesthetic rooms at the hospital which would allow parents to stay with their kids right up until they are about to go into theatre. This is part of our major redevelopment programme, which we hope will help us to treat another 20,000 children every year.
