Heart and renal transplant patients from Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) travelled to Medway in August to take part in the 2012 British Transplant Games.

This month, three Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) patients and one UCL Institute of Child Health (ICH) researcher received awards from Prince Harry during a night of glitz and glamour at the national 2012 WellChild Awards.

Since March we have been asking the patients and families involved in Great Ormond Street Hospital to vote for the Child and Family Award in the GOSH Staff Awards 2012.

At our annual Staff Awards, we give patients and their families the chance to nominate one of our staff for the “Child and Family Award” in recognition of their dedication.

Great Ormond Street Hospital patients were given a special treat recently, with a food photography day in the hospital school. Given only a basket of fresh produce and a box of props, the children worked together to create individual works of art.
