Professor Helen Cross

Professor Helen Cross is the Prince of Wales’ Chair of Childhood Epilepsy based at University College Hospital (UCL), Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and Young Epilepsy.
She is also Deputy Head of the Developmental Neurosciences Programme at UCL Institute of Child Health (ICH) and was recently elected as Secretary General to the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE), where she is the first woman to be elected to the executive committee in over 100 years of its existence. Here, she tells us a little about her research and her role at GOSH.
