Many runners will be choosing 2012 to take on their first big running challenge. Several of you will be tackling your first ever marathon – and that’s a very daunting prospect, we know. Two staff members at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity have decided to share the pain, anguish and – eventually – joy of the experience of preparing for a marathon with a series of video blogs. Here is their story so far.
Today we wanted to put the spotlight on one of our dedicated fundraisers Robin Miller, who after several years of doing charity events wanted to take it up a notch and came up with a brilliant idea, the 10grandcharitychallenge . Several charities are benefiting from this great fundraiser and we’re delighted that Great Ormond Street Hospital is one of them so we thought we’d tell you a bit more about Robin, his amazing events and how you can get involved.
The Virgin London Marathon is nearly here, there are only a couple of weeks until those taking part embark on one of the great races in sport.
